Am liebsten porträtiere ich, und erzähle mit meinen Aufnahmen von ihren ganz persönlichen Leidenschaften. Ich halte respektvoll Abstand mit meiner Kamera und komme ihnen dennoch verdammt nahe. Es macht mich glücklich, wenn es mir gelingt, für einen kurzen Augenblick in ihre Seele schauen zu dürfen. In jedem Fall aber zeige ich sie so, wie sie sind – authentisch und voller Leidenschaft für das, was sie tun. Warm & lebendig Erst Licht macht sichtbar, was im Verborgenen liegt. Erst die richtige Beleuchtung bringt den wahren Charakter der Dinge zum Vorschein. Am liebsten nutze ich warmes, natürliches Licht und arbeite mit extrem lichtstarken Objektiven. Lebendigkeit und Spannung entstehen durch Tiefe und Unschärfe und durch all das, was nicht im Fokus der Kamera liegt. Das Unsichtbare weckt die Imaginationskraft des Betrachters. Respektvoll & persönlich Vertrauen spielt für meine Arbeit eine entscheidende Rolle. Authentische Aufnahmen gelingen nur, wenn zwischen den Protagonisten und mir eine entspannte und vertraute Atmosphäre entsteht. Nur dann darf ich teilhaben an ihren Leidenschaften, nur dann können sie wirklich sie selbst sein. Meine Protagonisten wiederum spüren, dass das Fotografieren und Filmen meine Leidenschaft ist und ich Ihnen mit Respekt begegne.
